Dr. Shawne Murray joined the Gottlieb Vision Group Center for Specialty Care in 2008, and has worked with REKINDLE™ Vision and Dr. Gottlieb for over 20 years. Dr. Murray is board-certified in Osteopathic Manual Manipulation. She practices craniosacral therapy and somato-emotional healing.
Dr. Murray works with postural problems that are commonly seen with visual disorders. Frequently the visual disorders cause sufferers to tilt or turn the head abnormally in order to see well, resulting in pain. Dr. Murray also works with clients with traumatic brain injury in catastrophic rehabilitation efforts. She works to increase strength and function to those with partial paralysis and motor limitations caused by stroke or injury.
Dr. Murray has studied healing arts of Nutritional Medicine for over 35 years, Osteopathic adjusting of the spine, viscera, fascia, muscles, cranium and potency for over 25 years, Yoga and Meditation for over 35 years, somatic-emotional release work for over 20 years and healing through the four layers of the heart through her studies in Sufism for over 6 years. She practiced in Norcross and Roswell Georgia as a Holistic General Medical Practioner for 17 years. She received her Board Certification in Osteopahtic Manipulative and Neuromusculoskelatal Medicine in 2006.
